I would like to know about any bird guides that are resident in El Salvador, Honduras or Guatemala and any bird tour companies that run trips to this area. What would really help would be if you could write a paragraph or two about yourself or your company, what tours you lead, transport details, costs, contact details etc.

Guided bird tours to Honduras with leading experts in the field

Jesse Fagan and Mark Bonta are currently planning a couple of guided birding tours through Honduras, in August 2006 and over the New Year2006/07. They are leading experts on the birds of Middle America and have led a number of tours to the region. On their last tour, Mark and Jesse added Palm Tanager to the Honduran list (a trip where they notched up no less than 8 species that I have still never seen!!!). I have birded with them both (on our last birding trip together we added Plain-breasted Ground-Dove to the Honduran list) and highly recommend them as bird guides. I will be surprised if they don't make more important discoveries on these coming trips.
