| This species is fairly common throughout
much of our region, where its size and distinctive appearance
make it easy to spot. The distribution in Howell and Webb includes
most of the central highland and mid-elevation regions of northern
Central America, excluding most of the coastal and lowland regions
and also the highest areas in western Guatemala. All of my sightings
fall within their range, except that I have seen them in Pico
Bonito, which is on the north coast of Honduras. |
