Howell and Webb includes this species as a transient through
the Caribbean lowlands of our region, where they state that
they are mostly seen at sea level. Bonta and Anderson describes
them as fairly common in Honduras, whereas Land mentions only
a few records from the Peten, where Beavers describes them as
rare. I have still never seen this species in the region.
