Checker-throated
Antwren
Myrmotherula
fulviventris

This species is found throughout much of South America and Central
America, but only just reaches into our region in eastern Honduras
which is at the northernmost extent of its range. Land only
gives two records for the country by 1968, but Bonta and Anderson
(who spent a lot of time studying birds in eastern Honduras)
describe the species as fairly common. My one sighting of this
species was is a mixed species flock in primary forest below
Cerro Baltimore, near Las Marias in the Mosquitia.
