Ash-throated
Flycatcher
Myiarchus
cinerascens
|
 |
This is a northern species that winters in northern Central
America. Howell and Webb show a winter range that includes most
of southern Guatemala, El Salvador, southern Honduras and into
Nicaragua. Land describes them as fairly common in the arid
interior and highlands and Bonta and Anderson describe it as
uncommon in Honduras. However, Komar and Dominguez give only
one record for El Salvador. I have still never seen an Ash-throated
Flycatcher, but I could easily have missed them as they are
difficult to identify.
